Vettaikkaran - the ugly hunter!

Given that Vijay has churned out yet another box office hit from a movie which has virtually no story to look forward to, I do not want to add salt to the raging fire by ‘trying’ to review ‘Vettaikkaran.’ I admit my inability to review this intelligent movie aimed solely at supra-intelligent creatures. So…

Lessons learnt from Vijay’s Vettaikkaran

1.    Coloring one’s hair and altering a wig to fit sideways on the head can be called a ‘change in get up.’ (Give up watching Kamal Hassan, folks)

2.    Vijay dressed up as a woman, and Anushka dressed up as man is the innovative make-up of the year. (Forget ‘Paa,’ NOW!)

3.    At 35 a human being can fail only 4 times in 12th class and still get into a seemingly decent college in Chennai (Sad manipulation)

4.    Alcohol and cockroach-repellants are inflammable. (Chemistry lessons, all for you!)

5.    A top-notch IPS officer’s family can be burnt publicly, and escape the eyes of the authorities concerned. (I know it is India, but this is stuff out of Africa)

Vettaikkaran

 

6.    Sun pictures has so much money that I want to puke my guts out for the slutty portrayal of the heroine in the movie.  (Eww)

7.    Never pair up a cheap checked shirt with a cowboy hat and a white stallion., if you are Vijay (Insulting to the animal, of course)

8.    Do not ever watch a Vijay movie without a company. (You’d be bored in 2 minutes, at least you can talk to your friend)

9.    Never go for a movie date, if the movie you picked is ‘Vettaikkaran.’ (Your girlfriend/boyfriend would think you hate her/him so much to murder them cold bloodedly.)

10.    Pokkiri=Kuruvi=Villu=Vettaikkaran.  Skip Vettaikkaran, for the best of your health.  Period.
